preparation

Sewing, cutting, sticking... I invent numerous ways of saving the precious space in my pannias, a portable kitchen, a miniature toolshed (in a drink bottle) and fewer fashion items- out with the high heels and lipstick. After some time I sit, continuously going over the distances between water stops... 150 ks, what... 250ks... how many days riding is that? How much water will we need to carry? What about cooking? I fill up one of my 3 litre water bottles, goodness, sooooo heavy! How many litres did I say I wanted to carry? 10? eeeeeeek!!
So overwhelmed, then I speak to Mel, we chat nervously and excitedly. Thats right two months on the road with Toad... awesome!
